I had my wedding a few weeks ago and went to Sir Michael's because he's good friends with a family friend of mine, I thought they'd treat me well... I thought... The first few phone calls were great, he was real responsive and was tossing ideas my way on what we could do and also gave me some catering suggestions, he sent over an estimate for my wife and I to review... from the moment we wanted to make changes, the headache began. The office admin clearly has no attention to detail skills, it took her 3 times to change the quantity of something and add/remove some items, each change taking over a day, but once we approved she was calling once every hour hounding for payment. The biggest upset was when the items were delivered. When I was setting up the chairs I noticed my hands were turning black from the dirt that was on the white chairs, and many of the pads on the chairs had food residue or were sticky from something being spilled on them. As if I did not have enough to do to finalize our wedding, my father, father-in-law, and myself spent then next two hours cleaning every chair so that my guests wouldn't have their clothes ruined. I'd like to mention that at least 10 chairs had torn pads (see picture). I also asked for some serving utensils for pasta, I got an over sized spoon, not the one with the teeth used to serve pasta, the desert tray was a large tin serving tray, and the tongs to serve other food were grimier than the ones that are at my condo's common area BBQ. I've been to gatherings with this man and his family, I've been to his house to fix his computer and once helped one of his sons with some math homework - this is how I was treated. We gave him a chance to correct this and he promised to call me back to settle this and has not. I would avoid this business at all costs in the future.
